CME IP Phone Time Issue

Hello

We are facing issue with CME time , Phones are getting different time on phone display

Some phones are getting wrong time after the reload of CME including CIPC.

But the same type of (7942,7945,7970) phones are getting proper time some of them getting wrong (2 hr difference, ).

Following config already i have checked.

1-Configure TZ and Summer-time

2. Configure NTP (pri,sec)

3. Configure 'time-zone' command under telephony-service,

4. Type under ephone config

5. Checked the sh clock getting proper time.

Hello,

I had the same problem once , i solved by giving the timezone under the telephony service is GMT only and i configured the router to have the right clock directly , then create new cnf-files and restart all ip phones and give it a shot.

Hi Amer and hope u are in a good health.

i have the same problem regarding the time display on the ip phones(there is no ntp server- i want the ip phones to synchronize the time from the cme router) ... i did as your post above and do the create cnf-files command then restart the phones but still the problem remains:

the router time is correct after doing the sh time detail

in the telephony service i did the ; time-zone 31, create cnf-files, restart the phones...

is anything else to solve my problem?

i do configure the correct time using cme#clock set  ......

no ntp is used

after the router reload the time shown on both the router and on the ip phones with 10 min faster than the normal time.

so i have always to configure the correct time after the router reloads.

can you help

the amazing is when i log in to the cme via the gui i found the time is correct and by clicking set , the ip phones return to the correct time.

logging via CLI the time shows 10 min faster

Hi Guys, I have a strange problem with one of my CCMEs (v 7.1) running on a 2801 router. All older phones, like 7912, 7940, 7960 shows the correct time. The newer phones, like 7942 and 7945 shows incorrect time - one hour forward. The router has external ntp server configured and it's clock is OK. I made the following configuration:

ntp server 87.117.251.2 prefer

ntp source Dialer1

clock timezone EET 1

clock summer-time CEST recurring last Sun Mar 4:00 last Sun Oct 4:00

telephony-service

time-zone 26

time-format 24

date-format dd-mm-yy

The phones firmware version is SCCP45.9-0-2SR1S. Strange, coz the older phones are OK, the newer are with one hour forward. this router is in Macedonia. If I change the timezone the newer phones become OK, but the older with one hour back.

Any tips?
