I have a few questions about CME (UC500) features. We have a customer who would like a phone to be in 2 paging groups, can that be done? He also would like to Transfer a call to a user and if they don't answer it should return to the person who transfered it, can that be done? What about alternate Extensions for CUE, I have a main number that is 5400 and rolls to 5401, then to 5402, and if nobody answers it then it should go to a VM box, I tried to talk him into Overlays but he wants the ability to answer multile calls that are to that main number, can this be done? Ad Hoc, what's the most ac-hoc conference calls a phone can have? Here's a tricky one that he states that works with Nortel, when a caller calls a person and they are on the phone, they want it to tell the person that they are currenly on the phone and to please wait or press 1 to leave a voice mail, then when the user is free the call completes to that user.
A lot to answer, so any would help.

Here are a couple of answers;
Call-Transfer Recall
The Call-Transfer Recall feature in Cisco Unified CME 4.3 and later versions returns a transferred call to the phone that initiated the transfer if the destination is busy or does not answer. After a phone user completes a transfer to a directory number on a local phone, if the transfer-to party does not answer before the configured recall timer expires, the call is directed back to the transferor phone. The message "Transfer Recall From xxxx" displays on the transferor phone.
The transfer-to directory number cannot have Call Forward Busy enabled and cannot be a member of any hunt group. If the transfer-to directory number has Call Forward No Answer (CFNA) enabled, Cisco Unified CME recalls the call only if the transfer-recall timeout is set to less than the CFNA timeout. If the transfer-recall timeout is set to more than the CFNA timeout, the call is forwarded to the CFNA target number after the transfer-to party does not answer.
If the transferor phone is busy, Cisco Unified CME attempts the recall again after a 15-second retry-timer expires. Cisco Unified CME attempts a recall up to three times. If the transferor phone remains busy, the call is disconnected after the third recall attempt.
The transferor phone and transfer-to phone must be registered to the same Cisco Unified CME, however the transferee phone can be remote.
For the Forwarding of the main # 5400
**Mailbox selection (OCN)
This configurable option specifies the mailbox to be used in case of call forward.
Mailbox selection: Mailbox in which an incoming voice message is stored. The options are original called number (OCN) or the last redirected number (LRD). LRD is the default option. You would need to change this to OCN and you would be good to go :)

Mailbox selection
Mailbox in which an incoming voice message is stored. The options are original
called number (OCN) or the last redirected number (LRD). LRD is the default option.
For example, suppose caller A calls subscriber B's extension, which forwards the call to subscriber
C, who does not answer the phone. The call goes to voice mail. Subscriber B's extension is the OCN
and subscriber C's extension is the LRD. If the system is configured with the OCN option, the
system stores the message in subscriber B's mailbox. If the system is configured with the LRD
option, the system stores the message in subscriber C's mailbox.

Example:
se-10-0-0-0(config)# voicemail mailbox-selection
last-redirect
Specifies the mailbox in which a forwarded call's
message is stored.
