CME: Video calls between Cisco 9971 busy tone

Hi guys,

CME(9.5) IOS Version 15.3(2)T

Firmware: 9971.9-2-2SR1-9

When I tried to make a video call between two Cisco 9971 phone got busy tone in both way. I'm able to call between a Cisco 7942 and Cisco 9971 in both way so is confusing.

I'm able to see the busy tone message but I don't know why is received:

debug voip ccapi inout

6 21:54:35.215: //95/82BF983680F4/CCAPI/ccCallDisconnect:

Cause Value=17, Tag=0x0, Call Entry(Previous Disconnect Cause=0, Disconnect Cause=0)

debug ccsip messages

Sent:

SIP/2.0 486 Busy here

Attached Show Run and Call Trace.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi Leo

Try enable the video capability parameter for all applicable IP phones associated with your CME, under telephony-service Menu.

Router(config-telephony)# service phone videoCapability 1

Router(config-register-global)

#apply-config

- Also try configure video bandwidth control for SIP to SIP video calls:

voice register global
mode cme
bandwidth video tias-modifier 512000 negotiate end-to-end
apply-config

Hi all,

I'm using CME 9.5 on  2911 with IOS Version 15.3(2)T and 9.2.2SR1.9 Firmware.

I have a Central site with the 2911 CME 9.5 Router.

  - One 9951 Video Phone

  - One 9971 Video Phone

  - One 7911 SCCP

  - One 7960 SCCP

  - One 7970 SCCP

At the Remote site, I have a 2811 Router (no CME) connected to:

  - one 9951 Video phone

  - one 9971 Video phone

  - one 7911 sccp

  - one 7960 sccp

My configuration seems to work well for all SCCP phones and they can call each other from both sites. I see no problem with SCCP based phones.

Also, SIP phone at the Central site, can call SIP phones at the Remote site with no apparent issue.

Howover, a remote SIP phones receives fast busy signal when trying to call a Central SIP phone.

Is this an expected behavior?  Has anyone seen a similar problem ?

Attached show run for the Cental site and remote Router

Thanks for input.

Emile

Sorry here is the show run for the Central router and the Remote Router as an attachment
