Hello All
I have a customer that whats callers to hear an announcement before the call is connected / passed to the correct destination number.
System is cucm 8.6 and cucx.
Can this be done via a call handler?
If so are these the correct steps:
I need to create a cti in cucm with all calls fwd to vm.
create a forwarded routing rule
create a system handler
Transfer rule -> go directly to greeting
Standard greeting
Caller hears: my personal recording
After Greeting: ???? (this is where I am stuck as the user doesn't have mail box)
Also they want a 2 sec wait before ringback (is that a cucm parameter).
Any help is appreciated as usual.

You need another call handlers with transfer options set to whatever phone number you want, as the last step for after-greeting.
after-greeting->attempt transfer to -> call handler with transfer options ser to XXXX
