Configuring SRST on CUCMv10

Hi,

I have a branch office with 50 users registered in the Cisco Call Managerv10 and a Cisco Router 2901 with a license of 25 user for SRST. How I can configure that specific users in this branch office use the function SRST? Today, 25 telephones are registering in the SRST gateway in a random way.

Hi,

You specify the SRST reference on the device pool so you need to group those users in another device pool and specify the SRST reference under it.

SRST is first in, first served, in your scenario, it will serve the first 25 phones that start sending the keepalives to register with SRST, and the rest will be left out.

As Aseem says, you need to make sure that only the 25 phones that should register to SRST, know about the SRST GW, otherwise, you would need a bigger ISR to accommodate those 50 phones.
