Hi all, I know how to configure a static IP address etc on a phone with a valid phoneload on it but I have a 7961G that has been factory defaulted and the network that it connects to doesnt have DHCP. As a result when you plug the phone in it tries to find the TFTP server to download a new phoneload and I cant get into it to configure IP address, TFTP server etc. Does anyone have any suggestions or will I have to take the phone back to my office so it can connect via DHCP, download firmware and then allow me to reconfigure it manually.
Thanks in advnce,
Paul.

Yes, if the phone has been subject to factory reset you must use DHCP and option 150 with TFTP to download "term61.default.load" and all the individual firmware files.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

I figured as much which is why I've brought the phone home with me so I can take to my office tomorrow and configure. Cheers.
