CORPORATE DIRECTORY **HOST NOT FOUND**

Hi to all

i have a strange problem here

Everyhting was ok, but wihtout any reason the corporate directory stoped to work(host not found)

Phones: 9951 and 7945

work senario:

I have restarted cisco tomcat.Then reset all phones(NOTHING CHANGED)

1) Then i performed a hardware reset on some 7945 and this seems to work (Is any other solution? I have to perform a hardware reset an a 200 phones?>)

Do you wnow waht causing this issue?

2) Now on 9951 phones i couldnt perform a hardware reset(is not like the other phones?)

Hi,

If you are getting Host not found error then please find below of the steps to remove this error:-

  • Make sure to change hostname to ip address under System->Server.

  • As a workaround, remove the Secure URL entry for Directory URL under the Enterprise Parameters.

  • Make sure that the firewall settings are not blocking access.

  • Restart the Cisco Trust Verification Service.

  • Also refer to the link below for more information

    Do you mean a factory reset ?

    factory reset on this phone by doing the following procedure :



             1. Power off and power on the phone while pressing #

             2. When you see the red LED lit on the MUTE key.

             3. Enter 123456789*0# to initiate factory reset. (before LEDs are lit as Orange)

    Hi

    I have removed the security directory URL and performed a fardware reset on all phones

    After that the problem solved

    By doing this the phone will communicate with the CUCM over HTTP right ?
