Hi to all
i have a strange problem here
Everyhting was ok, but wihtout any reason the corporate directory stoped to work(host not found)
Phones: 9951 and 7945
work senario:
I have restarted cisco tomcat.Then reset all phones(NOTHING CHANGED)
1) Then i performed a hardware reset on some 7945 and this seems to work (Is any other solution? I have to perform a hardware reset an a 200 phones?>)
Do you wnow waht causing this issue?
2) Now on 9951 phones i couldnt perform a hardware reset(is not like the other phones?)

Hi,
If you are getting Host not found error then please find below of the steps to remove this error:-
Make sure to change hostname to ip address under System->Server.
As a workaround, remove the Secure URL entry for Directory URL under the Enterprise Parameters.
Make sure that the firewall settings are not blocking access.
Restart the Cisco Trust Verification Service.

Do you mean a factory reset ?
factory reset on this phone by doing the following procedure :
1. Power off and power on the phone while pressing #
2. When you see the red LED lit on the MUTE key.
3. Enter 123456789*0# to initiate factory reset. (before LEDs are lit as Orange)

I have removed the security directory URL and performed a fardware reset on all phones
After that the problem solved
