CP-8831 built-in mic

Hi,

I bought the CP-8831 Conference Phone to replace the CP-7937, that use the built-in mic only (No the wireless / wired mic)

I'm using on the small conference room. As the CP-7937, the calling out sound is very clear and the receiver caller hear is good. But it is bad on the CP-8831. Why? The same small conf. rm.

Must I purchase the external mic for CP-8831? 

I just searched some doc said the 8831 build in mic provide the 360 degree audio coverage via four built-in mic. Should I disable two built-in mic?

Hello Chi,

I know that it's too late for replay, but i hope that will help some one.

8831 conference sip phone come by default with four microphone that build in the unit in the corner of the unit, that will converge "Maximum Optimal Coverage of 20- by 20-Foot Room".

if we need additional coverage you need to buy wired OR wireless microphone.
