Some of the 8841 documentation says the phone supports idivert function. This does not seem to be the case with CUCM 8.6.2.

Sure it is, it shows up on the phone as "Decline" softkey, but besides different label it is the same feature.

Do you have "Divert" enabled in the feature control policy?

We can't find that setting in the feature control policy.

Go to Device --> Device Settings --> Feature Control Policy, where you need to create one if you don't have it and enable:
Divert (Alerting)
Divert (Connected)
then assign this feature control policy to the phone.

Tried that and failed. The menu item does not exist. It does for the 9971.

Neither Decline nor Idivert are there. This appears to be a bug in 8.6.2. Have not tried this in 10.5 yet.

Idivert feature is not supported on 88xx series phones (Check "System Requirements for Immediate Divert"): http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_5_1/ccmfeat/fsgd-851-cm/fsimmdiv.pdf

Thanks for the info. I recreated in the lab and the idivert soft key is the one which shows as decline option when a call is coming in.
Decline All:
Allows a user to transfer a ringing, connected, or held call directly to a voice-messaging system. When a call is declined, the line becomes available to make or receive new calls.
See the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Features and Services Guide, "Immediate Divert" chapter.
