CP-8961, 9951, 9971 and USB Devices

Hi,

I am playing around with the "new" phone series and wonder about the USB-port. What I saw was that a USB Headset works out of the box. You can configure it to "mass storage" (ccm admin pages) but a usb stick doesn't work.

Does anybody of you has found out which devices will work?

I am not really sure about the Mass storage ( i wil try to find something) but i know on the 9900 series the USB is used for the camera , you can buy it and install it on the phone so you can have a video call.

it says about the USB :

2 USB ports accelerate the usability of call handling and applications by enabling accessories such as the
Cisco Unified IP Camera, wired and wireless headsets.

Actually, USB ports includes the Cisco Unified Video Camera and USB wired headsets.

Additional peripheral devices may be added in the future to further enhance user experience
