I need to create two standalone voicemail boxes. They do not need to ring a phone, just straight to voicemail. I am new to cisco and my search has revealed zero results.
We are using Unity and CUCM, the newest versions of each.
Thanks!

Hi Wick,
A nice way to create a "Dummy" or "Virtual" number in CUCM is
create it as a CTI-RP (CTI-Route Point.) When you create a
CTI-RP you will be able to set a CFWD on the DN page to go staight to
VoiceMail
Just a thought.
Cheers!

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the answer and I will play around with this, but just a bit of background. I am not a network administrator. I work in a different part of IT yet all of this has fallen onto me. There's a lot more to say but I think you get where I am headed.
All of this Cisco administation is new to me, and I have been teaching myself as I go. We just recently switched over to VOIP, using SIP.
Could you go into more detail on how to create this type of number, or if possible direct me to a correct article?
Again thanks for the response!
