CTI controlled Device Profile

Hello,

I have implemented CUP 9.1 with CUCM 9.1 with Extension mobility ,users integrated with AD.

I want to controlled a deskphone by jabber windows clients and for that i have to associate device to the end user by DEVICE INFORMATION --CONTROLLED DEVICES>Device Association If i would not configured  Extension mobility.

BUT now i have configured Extension Mobilty so instead of associating a device i have to associate a profile if i am not wrong , (USER MANAGEMENT>ENDUSER> (ENDUSERNAME)>Available Profiles (select the profile). how can i do for 500 users????

Also i need to add users on the line how can we do for 500 users when extension mobility is configured, If i would have not configured Extension then i would have went to BAT > Users > Line Appearance > Export line appearance where i can edit the csv file and update with the MAC of the phone to the user id but in Extension mobility we can do this.

Yes you need to associate the Device Profile to the End User object instead of the physical device. The BAT.xlt file has an Update Users worksheet where you can build a job for this.

As for the Associate User part: once the Device Profile is properly associated to the End User, you can do an export for all associated devices. The UDP name will be shown in addition to/instead of SEP.
