CUCM 11.5.1 Alternate Syslog empty on Publisher and Subscriber.

Hi experts!

 

Am running CUCM 11.5 base version w/o any SU installed. I have 2 CUCM's locally and suddenly CUCM Publisher stopped logging event viewer logs. I see phone error events in device summary where else I donot see in alternate syslog.

Phones are registered to CUCM Publisher.

 

Anyone faced similar issue OR anyone can contribute with your ideas would be much appreciable.

Can you check if the file is present via the CLI
file list activelog /syslog/*

If so using file view activelog /syslog/"name of file" try viewing the file to see if new events are written.

Also how were you verifying it via RTMT or a log server? If its the latter the following bug might interest you

Hi Aeby,

But, 4days back I was able to view event logs in RTMT Syslog viewer. After restart of CUCM Publisher, i started facing this issue.
No changes / modifications on CUCM done.

Any suggestions?
