CUCM upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 or 9

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the upgrade of the cucm from 8.5 to 8.6 or 9.0 is free or I need to purchase something?

By the way, I have a smartnet that covers my cucm 8.5 installed on a MCS server

Hi,

For Call Manager minor upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 , u need to have Valid ESW contract.

For Call Manager major upgrade 8.x to 9.x, u need to have ESW along with UCSS contract.

yes for 8.6 , it is ok if you have ESW

for 9.x, you can order an upgrade from ur partner or it'll be ok if you have UCSS

Hi,

You need to have ESW contract as well for UCSS to order.

After u place the order, u would get PAKs through e-delivery.
