Twice a year we have to deal spring forward or fall back or whatever it is !
I will try to make a list of sites, but to summarize, Cisco is missing some time-zones / saving settings.
Let me give you an example...
Abuja, the capital of Nigeria ( Nigeria has a population of 140 million ! )
As you can see from here - the timezone is WAT, Western African Time, GMT/UTC + 1 hr.
And like a lot of countries, near the equator, Daylight saving time is not is use.
Se we need a GMT / Standard Time +60
and the options on Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express are .....
20 Azores Standard/Daylight Time -60
21 GMT Standard/Daylight Time +0
22 Greenwich Standard Time +0
23 W. Europe Standard/Daylight Time +60
24 GTB Standard/Daylight Time +60
25 Egypt Standard/Daylight Time +120
26 E. Europe Standard/Daylight Time +120
FYI - Our Versions
Abuja-2911-VOIP#sho telephony-service
CONFIG (Version=10.5)
=====================
Version 10.5
Max phoneload sccp version 17
Max dspfarm sccp version 18
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express
and Flash... c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M4a.bin
and before you say it...
I know it will work for a few months using 23, but we would rather configure it correctly than a quick fix.
Regards
James
