Dial main number, then dial an internal extension

Hey folks, me again with the basic questions I did not find from a search.

CUBE 7.1.3

Auto Attendant number: 5200 (for those that know me, this routes to 5299 for the Auto Attendant message)

If I dial 5200 (or 5299), and the message tells me I can dial an extension (internal only extension is my focus), it works.

If I dial the outside number (npa-nxx-5200), then dial the extension, call goes off to dead-air.

Do I need to create a translation pattern to handle this?

When you dial the outside number do you hear the auto attendant? Maybe you  need a xlation pattern to map the full DDi to your internal extension
