Hi all,
Special requirement from customer, can i use forward-digits and prefix based on the order in the same dial-peer? Such as the following dial-peer.
dial-peer voice 226 pots
translation-profile outgoing to900
destination-pattern 226T
port 0/1/0:23
forward-digits 10
prefix 001
If the user dials 226011408XXXXXXX, the called number should be 001408XXXXXXX?
Thanks in advance!
Eric

You should you translation rule for it, or simplest way is to use "destination-pattern 226011T" and then do prefix 001

Thank you guys. In this case, actually, i'd like to confirm if i can do forward-digits 10 first, then add prefix 001 at the same dial-peer.

The configuration is for our London office. HQ is in Canada. We use 226 as prefix for the international calls which go to North America. If the employee in London dials 226+Local number (HQ number) / 226+1+national number / 226+011+ the US number, the call will be forwarded to HQ using the existing route pattern as HQ. However, during SRST, the calls are needed to be forward to UK PSTN without changing dialing behavior. So the question comes up. If user dials 226+HQ number, we need to remove 226, then add prefix 001. If the called number is 226+1+national number, we need to remove 2261, then add prefex 001. Since the most number in NA is 10 digits, so i think i might use forward-digits 10 first then adding prefix 001.

Hi Eric,
I believe ,you certainly can.
Also you may want to match 226011T and then use prefix 001 .thanks
