As per my understanding ,

First one will match four digits as we have 000.T after that inter digit timeout expires and second one will match any length of digits after 000 until Interdigit time expires.

That is correct -

Additionally, in CME 000T would never be matched because 000.T would be more specific. If this pattern was in CUCM, the "." would help with "pre-dot" discards.
