Recently I have done a few projects which involve working on multiple CUCM clusters at the same time.
It can be confusing as the web GUI for everything from CUCM 5 to 12 looks pretty similar.
Does anyone know any way of applying a different "theme" to each system so that the colour scheme could change and make it obvious which one you are on?
I know that this is not built into the product but wondering if anyone has any tips?
I am currently using different browsers (Firefox and Chrome) for different clusters but would like something that changes colours.
Thanks

Hi James,
Just thought I would add a note to the great thoughts from Les here (+5 Les).
You finally will be able to do some customization with the release of CUCM 12.x;
The Branding feature lets you upload customized branding for Cisco Unified Communications Manager and IM and Presence Service. Branding gets applied to the Cisco Unified CM Administration or Cisco Unified CM IM and Presence Administration login and configuration windows. Among the items that you can modify include:
Branding must be enabled separately for the Cisco Unified Communications Manager and IM and Presence Service user interfaces:
For details on how to enable Branding for the Cisco Unified Communications Manager interface, and how to append a company logo to the Self-Care Portal interface, see the "Branding Customizations" chapter of the System Configuration Guide for Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Release 12.0(1)at http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/products-installation-and-configuration-guides-list.html.

Hi -
You cannot change the theme but you can load a customized banner / logon message. We have 20 clusters and use this method which is helpful. We also include the DID ranges and other site specific information in this message.
Create a text file and load it to the publisher. OS Administration --> Software Upgrades --> Customized Logon Message

Les

Thanks Rob - great information from you as normal.
I guess other people had the same idea/requirement I did but a year or so previously!

By the way I did find a Firefox extension called Color That Page which allows you to change backgrounds for web pages. It is supposed to work on all subordinate pages but this was not the case with CUCM.
