different ring for external incoming call and internal incoming call + CME

Hi all,

I m using a CME 8.8 , and i want know  if there is a possibility to have a different ring according the type of call :

Example :  we have a following DN 1000,  the customer want to a have a different ring according to :

1- External incoming call  to 1000

2- Internal incoming call to 1000

As far as I know this is not possible on same line.

You can although create 2 different extensions on separate line buttons on the Phone and change the ringtone from the IP phone for each line button if IP phone has 2 buttons minimum.

You already have a 'different' ring of sorts by default - internal calls should ring once (i.e. 'ring', whereas  external do a double-ring (i.e. 'ring ring').

It's seomthing you don't notice until it's been pointed out, but then it seems pretty obvious!
