Getting intermittent dropped calls and one way audio from a site with two POTS lines connect to a FXO ports. Log shows these errors:
042337: Sep 20 11:00:08.019 EDT: %DSPRM-3-DSPALARM: Received alarm indication from dsp (0/1). Resetting the DSP.
042338: Sep 20 11:00:08.019 EDT: %DSPRM-3-DSPALARMINFO: 0018 0000 0080 0000 0006 4900 6465 6275 6728 3334 3829 0000
042339: Sep 20 11:00:08.019 EDT: %DSPRM-3-DSPALARMINFO: debug(348)
Did some searching and found a bug that is related to this error:
CSCtj71414 Bug Details
Not sure if it applies to this issue however. Inventory shows
NAME: "PVDM 0", DESCR: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with one DSP with half channel capcity"
PID: PVDM2-8 , VID: NA , SN: FOC10035M0Q
Is there anyway to remotely rule out if the DSP module is faulty (site is on other side of country) or if the issues is due to a bug.
Thanks
Troy

Try reloading router.

That did not fix the issue. After this error occurs the FXO ports shutdown and then restart.

You can try updating IOS and if still trouble replace PVDM2.
