Hello I am configuring a new gateway with an e1 pri to the pstn. And when I try to make a new call i received the following error:
"ZAVGW001#
*Aug 31 11:38:19.079: ISDN Se0/0/1:15 Q931: TX -> SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x0001
Sending Complete
Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A2
Standard = CCITT
Transfer Capability = Speech
Transfer Mode = Circuit
Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s
Channel ID i = 0xA9839F
Exclusive, Channel 31
Calling Party Number i = 0x0181, '153'

Cause i = 0x82E404 - Invalid information element contents"
The call flow is "cp7941" --> "ccm5.1" --> 2821 gw E1 backhaul --> pstn

Did you try to transform "calling party number" from '153' to 9 digit number? You can do this by using external phone number mask or prefix digits on gateway configuration.

hello again. may it be the pcm type?
09-04-2007 07:57 AM
It coulbe that telco wants type/plan ISDN/national. Are you using h.323 or MGCP, try setting that.
