Hi Experts
I have strange issue in CME. I have configured the entry directory under the telephony service but when the users try to get these directory is not shown to them. I shows an old extension and name and even when searching by name it is not shown. Please advice it is important .

Try to update cnf file after configuration changes and after that restart one of IP phone and check.
use below command under telephony-service
create cnf-files

Thanks alot for your post I did do the command create cnf-files and restart one phones but still not working. Is there any idea. Appreciate your help.

give "ip http server" in global config mode and put below command under telephony-service and then check plz.
service local-directory

I have exactly the same problem.
It worked fine and then directories are no longer available.
Have you found a solution?

Hi,
same problem for me with 2921 running IOS 15.2(4)M2 with CME 9.1
I had to do the following :
no ip http access-class 23
no ip http server
ip http access-class 23
access-list 23 permit
ip http server
After that, local directory work fine.
