We had a disk space issue this morning which forced all phone devices to roll over to our secondary DHCP and renew their addresses. after this only one phone got reregistered and all other phones are now not able to register.
The debug ephone register shows the following
ep 14 11:19:11.603 BST: %IPPHONE-6-UNREGISTER_ABNORMAL: ephone-11:SEP0014A91ABB
9F IP:192.169.0.140 Socket:4 DeviceType:Phone has unregistered abnormally.

IS there anythinh i need to look into. i have tried rebooting the phones but no help
I am using CME 3.4 on a 2621 with 12.4(4)T

What the phones are showing? Is this DHCP providing the necessary option 150 with CME's address ?

You were dead right. The DHCP had no option 150 set and once that was done everything started working fine.
I was crazy trying to look for something else before checkibg the server
