I have a huawei lte e5172 router. It come with a telephone jack. An analog phone connected to this port works fine.
My problem is if I connect this port to an fxo port in a cisco 2801 router.
The 2801 with the vic card do not detect that there is a line connected to it. not possible inbound nor outbond calls.
The fxo port is fine, if I connect another line from the pstn or to a sip gateway works fine.
Both the LTE modem and the fxo port in the 2801 works with other brands but not between them.
I need some help with this.

have you tried both loop start and ground start signalling?
Router(config)# voice-port slot/subunit/port
Router(config-voiceport)# signal loop-start | ground-start

Groud start is only for certain special order lines in the USA. It does not apply to any other situation.

Yes, I done everything, but nothing works with this LTE modem.
I have done the same with other analog lines and with other cable-modem with fxs ports connected to the 2801 and works fine.

Sometimes the outgoing calls goes well, but for incoming calls the caller only hear the ring tone, but the router never answer.
the port configuration is:
voice-port 0/1/1
connection plar 5000
caller-id enable

You can try configuring a different cptone, however the debug indicates many problems including no loop current and ringing detected while doing an outgoing calls, so likely that is not going to work anyway.

Its a wierd problem related with the LTE modem. This modem has voice system based in SIP.
supposedly it has a normal fxs port, but there are several problems, for example if the outgoing call goes fine, the following problem is the dtmf.
I have to talk with the provider to see how solve those issues.

They will lilkely tell you that if a phone works, their responsability ends there.

The provider said that may be is a problem with the 48Volts, because the LTE modem use a 9V AC/DC adapter, and its possible that this device is not able to produce the range of voltages requiered by the vic2 fxo port.
Something weird happened, I confiured the fxo port (in UC520) with anwer supervision (supervisory answer dualtone & supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call). It worked for several attempts. After that has been imposible get this work again.
With the 2801 It never worked.

Telephony devices use DC-DC converters. They can produce an higher voltage than the power supply, even if not full 48v. However whatever it does, it is not good enough for the 2801.
