H323 FXO incoming call issue...

VLT06
Level 3
Level 3

Hi Guys,

Got a weird one where an incoming call just ring out for the caller however no CUCM phones are ringing etc…

When I programmed as MGCP, worked fine in and out. But when I reprogrammed as H323, incoming call rings out without any of the CUCM phones ringing. Can dial out ok from the phones though.

Have checked dial peers over and over again and also CUCM translation but still can’t seem to get going… Anyone come across a similar issue?

Debug shows nothing out of the norm...

Hi James,

Can you uncheck "Wait for Far End H.245 Terminal Capability Set " on the h323 gateway, reset it and then check if it works.

Thanks Manish,

Yeah, still the same.

A colleague of mine was also doing some tracing and it looks at the moment that the router is not communicating to the CUCM on and incoming perspective. Can see traffic back to other way (CUCM -> Router)... Very odd....

Hi James,

You can take the output of the following debug

debug ip tcp transactions

Also, a restart of the ccm service on cucm if possible to reinitialize the h225D process.
