Jean Lofrano

Hey team,

I have been working on CUCM cluster with Publisher and 2 x Subscribers. (System version: 8.6.2.23900-10)

Now, I need to add a new subscriber in the same cluster. (I have node license available)

I have started all services and the new subscriber server apper in available Cisco Unified Communications Managers.

But when I move the new subscriber into the group and I click in save I receive the error:

Update failed. TypeDbErrors.CMGM_LIMIT_EXCEEDED

thanks.

The SRND discusses this, there are many ways to handle this, if you want 1:1 HA, 2:1, etc

I have 1 Pub + 2 Subscribers working

So, I have been trying to add one subscriber more..

You can only have 3 servers in a CUCM group.

Ok, I created 2 groups like that:

GroupA = Pub + Sub01

GroupB = Sub02 + Sub03

So, How Can I create a HA inter groups?

If my devices registered on groupA have problem to reachable Pub or Sub01. How Can I do that devices to register on group B?

thanks.

They cannot, you can only have 1 CUCM group and 3 choices in it for any device.

Ok, but is there any documentation about this design?

What is the best design for 4 CUCM servers?

I have been thinking to register 50 % of the devices in groupA and 50% in the groupB.  (CUCM solution balanced)

thanks
