I don't know what this is called, but I believe there's a way to mimic a call route.
I have outbound faxes that are getting a line busy error, but if I call from my phone and the call goes through.
I believe I've seen this done in the past, but don't know what it's called or how to do this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
Did you mean CUCM DNA?
If you mean to simulate a call directly from you VG/CUBE, the command is
csim start <<number>>
Keep in mind that there are some issue to execute that command while in SSH session...so , temporarly enable telnent on your VG/CUBE to test the call simulator but then remember to switch to ssh only once finished
HTH

It’s not directly rocket science to use DNA. Recommend that you play around with it, especially since there is no impact in using it. You cannot do any harm by using it.
