How to hide names in CUCM 8.0 only that is integrated with AD?

Could some one please suggest for how to hide names in CUCM 8.0 only. Client's CUCM is integrated with AD, and they want to hide names for users who are no longer with the company from the Exchange Global Address List without having to delete them in AD. I've searched some documents, but all of them suggest to delete the users from AD first.

Any help would really be appreciated.

You can apply LDAP filters, one suggestion would be to only expose users with telephoneNumber or whatever attribute you are using for phone DN and users which should not show in corporate directory would simply have these blank.
