Jabber doesn’t need any separate licenses.

if u configure, Bot,CSF,Tct device for Jabber, CUCM will consume device license like enhanced, enhanced plus  or cuwl. To make calls using Jabber  u need to create above devices so the same device license will be consumed as normal phone.

if u r using Jabber for  messaging no separate license.

owner id configured on device page will help CUCM to identify the number of device a user use and that help to consume appropriate license.

You have CUWL 35, Enhanced 200, Basic 100. Cuwl standard message 35 (which comes along with the CUWL) installed on the system.

Required license is based on the device configured on CUCM(not registration status).

you have configured 185 devices which require enhanced license(88XX,enhanced phone models) and PLM consume these 185 from 200 installed license and remaining  15.

You have configured 94 devices which required basic license(7821 or basic phones) and plm consume these licenses from 100 basic license installed and you have 6 remaining.

you have one user configure with more than 3 device PLM consume 1 CUWL for the user who has more  than two device associated.(owner id associated) and remainig should be 34.

But you have two users who use two devices each and PLM  doesn't have Enhanced plus license installed. PLM will borrow the required license from CUWL(upper tier) to license these device. so 34 -2 you have 32 CUWL remaining.

The same applies to Basic messaging, Basic messaging is licensed by borrowing from CUWL Standard messaging.
