Hi Mr.Giuseppe, Thank you for reply, So in ISR 4331 i will install NIM-ES2-4 (4-port Layer 2 GE Switch Network Interface Module) and 9200 Switch Side i will use 2 or 4 port to create Ether-channel, But when i search randomly below link showing ether-channel not supported please clarify : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/4000-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/data_sheet_c78-612808.html Please can you Provide any documentation that ether-channel will support on ISR 4331 and Configuration Steps Thanks

Hi, i want to make etherchannel between ISR4331 router with Cisco 9200 Series stacking Switches, I have a doubt in ISR4331 which type of NIM cards should i used to make 4 uplinks as etherchannel connecting to Cisco Switches, 1) NIM-4 (4-Port Serial WAN Interface card) ??? OR 2) NIM-ES2-4 (4-port Layer 2 GE Switch Network Interface Module)???? Please advice. and if there is any document for configuration also Help full.

Hi Sir, Sorry for late reply,i get your point. Please conform : 1) For Uplink between Core 9600 line card (C9600-LC-24C) connecting to Hub Switches sup (C9400-SUP-1XL) we can achieve 40G???. 2) between Hub Switches 9400 series to achieve SVL and DAD we can use Line card (C9400-LC-24XS)???.

Hi, Thanks for Reply. if i use port channel so there is no benefit of putting line card (C9600-LC-24C - Cisco Catalyst 9600 Series 24-Port 40GE/12-Port 100GE) in 9600 Series Switch, but as our design Required 40 g uplink between DC to all Tower locations.

hi, sup line card 40g ports i will use for SVL, and 10g port for DAD, Please find the attach from data center to each site i have 2 uplinks 40g , but there is no module in 9400 series switch to support 40g , i need to no by using MPO/MTP connections we can get 40g bandwidth

Hi, Please find the attach design, I need to achieve 40g uplink speed between 9600 and 9400 series switches, from data center switches Cisco 9600 we need to connect three sites, from data center to all sites distance is 400 meters. Data center : Cisco 9600 series we have line card which support 40/100g Sites 1,2 &3 : We have Cisco 9400 series modular switch, with line card c9400-lc-24xs so please explain how we can achieve 40g speed with this. are we can use MPO/MTP.

We have 7 locations in which 6 location connected with fiber uplinks to main Site-DC, In main Site-DC we have PSTN lines, CUCM and VG router , now each site location I need separate billing for users, as data sheet for imagicle billy blues with 1 server I can control calling and billing for all locations with call manager, please suggest me part number L-IM110-250L is ok for attach design Solution. I have almost 167 user in all locations.

Hi, actually we already purchased 2x 9407 modular chassis with each switch consist 1 sup c9400-sup-1xl and 1x c9400-lc-24xs as i earlier said. still i have confusion that if i use 2x40 gig ports from sup, for DAD i try to configure one of port on module c9400-LC-24XS , i cannot configure because command not except in interface please clear this point.

Hi, Thank you for reply, 1) i have 2 chassis 9407 in which each chassis consist 1-sup c9400-sup-1xl and 1-line card c9400-lc-24xs , sup c9400-sup-1xl i can use 2x40g ports or 8x10g ports, in my scenario i want use 2x40g ports as SVL, so which ports i have to use for DAD, because once i configured 2x40g ports there is no ports in sup for DAD, for line card c9400-lc-24xs the command for DAD is not taking, please advice. 2) disconnecting SVL configure ports i cannot shut or not shut from cli mode for testing, just i am pulling fiber PC from SFP, please provide testing procedure or steps how to test.

I have set up of 2 x 9407 switches as a 1xfortygig uplink as SVL and a separate link for 1xfortygig uplink Dual Active Detection. When I pull the cable between the SVL, One of the switches go into recovery mode, when I restore the SVL, the switch stays in recovery mode unless I manually reload that switch. i need to know once i return back the cable why the switch not coming into Active state when DAD is UP and fine, for test i want to shut and no shut SVL ports , which i cannot should i manually remove the SVL link or we can Shut from CLI mode ??? Please find the Attach Document showing SVL is working fine, just i need steps for testing procedure how the SVL once goes down it will become active Switch. Please provide below query also : 1) Sup c9400-sup-1xl consist only 2x40gig ports , suppose if i want to use both for SVL ,what ports i can use as DAD (dual-Active -detection) ???
