How to stop update CTL in 8945 phones

Hi all,

Is it possible to stop a 8945 asking to update the CTL file?

The CUCM parameter is set to 0.

Costumer doesn't use CTL!

Also stuff like VPN ..... when you don't use that ?

You can try disabling CTL provider services in CUCM  servicability to see if that helps.Thanks

You cannot, phones will always try to download the CTL file, even if you're not using it, or not even using mixed mode, this does not affect anything.

oke so it is a signal that the phone is trying to update this file after a restart or logging inout EM of the phone?

I have a problem with uccx agents coming spontaneous on not ready.

I think this is a network problem.

Yes, just as every time you plug a phone or reset it, it will try to download the latest files for its config, it will try to download the CTL, if you're using CTL and it's not downloading, you need to look into it, if you're not using CTL, just disregard the message.
