How to transfer using AbbrDial Numbers?

Hello,

Our client is asking if is possible to use AbbrDial for transfers calls.

I configure the softkey, with AbbrDial in:

Digits After first

off hook

off hook with features

but when push button Transfer appear the softkey AbbrDial and then push it but not did nothing. So try to dial number 1 (this is a AbbrDial) and the softkey AbbrDial dissapear.

in on hook the AbbrDial 1 is work fine.

note: their phone is 7945 and not button is available for config Speed dial - BLF.

Also is asking if can see names for the AbbrDial.

he ask in on hook push the number 1 and then push AbbrDial not appear the name before dial?. he ask why is dial automaticly?.

I say he can check by menu all his abbrdial and names, but he said is to many complicated for the end users push many buttons and surfing for check this.

No, you cannot use abbrdial for transfer.

Doesn't help for your 7945 phones, but AbbrDial transfer is a feature with the 9951 phones (I'm on CM 7.1.3). When you push the transfer button, one of the soft buttons becomes "Speed Dial". I'm assuming you can do it with all of the newer phone models (89xx, 99xx) but I only have 9951's.
