images not transfer to background on ip phone 7945

hi all 

i extract some images via tftp server to flash of router and add images.png to tftp server 

then reset ephone (7945) but still not appear on backgrouds option 

please find attached file of show flash and also this is what i did :

after that i reset ephone to check but no luck  could you please help 

i have something strange i have 2 kind of phones but i can see only framware of only cp 7821 but i cant see the framware of 7945 ? is it  okay

Hello,

Check the paths to of the images if they are correct. Other thing to check is the format of the images.

Only the 7945 are not loading the background image?

Try to recreate the cnf-files and reset the IP Phones.

Config files are NOT used for background images. They are not related at all.

 load 7945 Frico       (or this command for firmwares only ?) not for files like file.png for example

or load 7945 frico.png

If you are trying to change the background image on the phone, all you need to worry about is the "List.xml". The XML needs to reference the thumbnail and the main image. All these files need to be in the flash. Also remember the images need to have the correct resolution and the color depth. If the color depth is incorrect, you would just get a blue screen.

Looks correct to me. Ensure that the thumbnail and images are in the same directory as in the List.xml. If not, then you would need to create alias to fix that.

"tftp-server flash:Desktops/320x212x12/Frico.png" >> this is called a TFTP binding. Ensure this is present for all images that you need on the phone and the List.xml as well.

Take a "debug tftp events" while you navigate to the images section on the phone and see if what is the phone requesting and if CME is able to provide it or not.

I will put emphasis again on the importance of correct resolution for background images to work correctly.

coz i have another type of phone 7821 and there is load option under global voice register to upload the files to phone

Load command is to populate the firmware in the config file when you do a create profile or create cnf. Background images rely on List.xml and not the config file xml.

What do you see on the phone ? Enable "debug tftp events" and go into Background Image setting on the phone to trigger the TFTP request. Post the output here.
