Hello,
We have a CME site with 2811 router and FXO cards. I am able to hear the ring but the phone does not ring. Internal calls work fine, outbound calls are fine. But phones not receiving inbound calls. Help please.

Hi,
I see tha that you have a plar configured in each FXO to a specific extension number as show below:
120 pots up up 3554 0 up 0/0/0
121 pots up up 3552 0 up 0/0/1
122 pots up up 3553 0 up 0/0/2
123 pots up up 3551 0 up 0/0/3
124 pots up up 3554 0 up 0/1/0
125 pots up up 3553 0 up 0/1/1
126 pots up up 5510 0 up 0/1/3 okay to answer
Now in this list below you can see the extension registered:
20001 pots up up 3501$ 0 50/0/2
20002 pots up up 3502$ 0 50/0/3
20003 pots up up 3503$ 0 50/0/4
20004 pots up up 3526$ 0 50/0/5
20005 pots up up 3505$ 0 50/0/6
20006 pots up up 3506$ 0 50/0/7

20023 pots up up 3523$ 0 50/0/24
20024 pots up up 3500$ 0 50/0/26
Only extesion 5510 is ready to answer. The plar is point to a specifc extension numbers if the extension number is unreachable (3551;3552;3553;3554) the external call can not be answered.
You can change the plar number in each FXO to an extension registered or create a Hunt-Group with a pool of extension registered.

@dsobrinho
Can I make all the connection plars as 5510 in the voice ports?

Hi ram.r.atkuri,
Yes, Only verify before who is extension 5510. I recommend setup to Telephonist.
Best regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I tried to call the number which has the plar 5510 associated. It rings twice and gives me a fast busy signal. Do you recommend making all the connection plars set to 5510?
Thanks,
Ram Atkuri.

Hi,
I can see in the debug the destination called as extension 3551. I believe that you have a connection plar applied yet in one of FXO to 3551. Verify the FXO again. If you do not have the extension connected (IP PHONE connected and registered) the answer allways will be cause value 1 (number unassigned).

I changed '3551' to '3500' which is an extension in use. When I dialed the 10 digit number it is ringing on her extension. She also has 3 other lines on the same phone. How can I make it to ring?
06-29-2015 06:47 AM
Hi,
I do not know if I understand your question now. You can assign the 3 extensions to ring?
Note: One solution that I propose, would be create a hunt-group with one Pilot Number that will be assigned in FXOs ports, inside the hunt-group you can insert two o more extension numbers. In the hunt-group you can select the algorithm (to ring in all extension in the same time, or to ring in longest Idle extension). There are many others configuration that you can use.
Use this documment as reference (find for hunt group)
