incoming sip call with no audio drop after 10 seconds

Hi all,

i am facing a problem in sip line configuration.

i am configuring sip line on branch router 2921. Incoming sip calls are disconnecting after 10 sec and there is no audio for either side.

the other end is hearing only call progress tone even after my side answers the call.

and out going call choosing a different dial-peer than what it should use.

the call flow is like below

ITSP----------->Branch Router---------->head office Router------------->call manager.

i am attaching the router config and duebugs here....

what does this means     Disconnect Cause=57   Bearer capability not authorized

This cause indicates that the user has requested a bearer capability which is implemented by the equipment which generated this cause but the user is not authorized to use.

Ok..Then you need to go to your provider,.They have not configured their end correctly. They are rejecting calls from the customer IP address.

good day...

about the yesterdays outgoing call issue i spoke to the provider and they are saying that they are receiving only 4 digit number 2300, and told to send 7 digit number 80623..

i modified the translation as

voice translation-rule 3

rule 1 /^[2-3].../ /8062300/

now outgoing calls from 2300 going out through gateway but connecting to provider call center. this is strange

when i am dialing from ext 2301 which will go out as 8062301 is working fine

any suggestion,i will be very happy to hear from you.thankyou very much


one more thing

i want all the calls coming on 2300  should go to 3080 which is Auto attendent. i tried it but not working can you please guide me .

The translation rule looks correct..

can you do a test call and send debug voip ccapi inout and debug ccsip messages...Enable them together

sorry i was stuck with some work so i coludn't reply.

i am attaching the debugs, the problem is when i am dialing my mobile number from the extension 2300 its getting connected to provider customer service center,

and when i am dialing with any other extension i.e, 23.. then outgoing is fine.

and incoming is working fine. but i want the incoming call go to my Auto Attendent(3080)

i tried by modifeing translation patterns but its not working.

The Caller ID is showing the correct number 8062300...So you will need to speak to your provider again to find out why the call from this extension is sent to the call center..Thats a problem they need to resolve. There is nothing you can do on your end..

What number do you want to go to 3080...I mean which dialled number?

All incoming calls from 2300 to 2399 sholud go to 3080.

What is the called number nfrom outside...is it 80623.. or 0380623..

Please do a test call for an inbound call for me and send me debug voip ccapi inout

the called number from outside local incoming calls will coming to 8062300 and long distance incoming will be 03-8062300

as 03 is the code for long distance.

It is not working because the translation pattern is not behaving properly..Im not sure why its doing this..

its a simple auto attendent for branches confiured on cisco unity located at head office,

yes for incoming calls from PSTN lines( till now we are using) calles are handled by the auto attendent and internally also it plays when we dial 3080.

i slightly changed the translation rules and dial-peers
