 would there be impact on the start-up-config file upgrade? I mean if i will loose my configuration cos am using vpn to log in

Hi,

First u need to generate the license file from ciso.com/go/license using PAK u got.You need to use UDI which u get using show version/show license udi

After u receive the license file , u need to upload .lic file in flash of router using commad copy tftp : flash: command.

Issue the license install flash:uck9_license.lic[assuming filename ] but the licenses are installed but not enabled. You need to enable technology license package i.e uck9.Issue command license boot module technology-package uck9

Accept it as YES and boot the router.
