iphone jabber and codecs

hello, all!

I have a very strange problem.

I try to use cisco jabber on iphone. my CUCM is 7.1

I have intraregion default codec g711

but when I try to call to the wired cisco phone from jabber - I see they communicate with g729 codec. why and how can I change it?

truely speaking I found it when I couldn't call from iphone jabber towards pstn through h323 gw. and this is my really problem.

Are the 2 devices in different device pools using different region?  What is the codec configured between the regions, or if the same region within this region?

all this devices are in the same device pool.

and intraregion codec is g711
