I have a 7832 currently running firmware sip7832.11-0-1MPP-477.loads that I can't get to register with CUCM ver10.5. I've installed the device pack and confirmed all the files are on TFTP. My thought is that it wont register with CUCM because it has the MPP firmware instead of the SIP. I could be wrong.
I've also put the files on a TFTP server on my laptop and followed the "upgrade firmware" instructions on https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/MPP/7832/firmware/11-1-1/cs78_b_mpp-rns-7832-11_1_1.html and the phone resets and says "upgrade aborted in error. Unknown error. The TFTP server shows the file starting to download but then stops when the phone shows the error.
I've tried every type of reset I know to get it working but am out of ideas.
Is this possible? Any help is appreciated.
