Hello community
I have been looking at the Jabber one way audio bug CSCwb15837 .
Does anyone know whether it affects jabber for windows version 14.1(0)

The status of the bug is Open, so there's no fix available yet, according to the bug, the affected (identified) releases are 14.0((3) and14.0.(4), you would need to test 14.1(0) to determine if the bug also affects that release or not.
You can also review the RNs of Jabber to determine what bugs affect and are fixed in each release.

No. We have tested 14.1(0) and it is still affected by this bug. We found it also effects Jabber on iPhone and IPAD.

Has anyone confirmed this issue was resolved in any version above 14.0.4? All release files 14.05 thru 14.1.3 still don't show if resolved and neither does the BUG ID within the Bug Search Tool.

Dumb question: What prevents you to just try it out and try out the latest version of Jabber for Windows? This is done in 5 mins.

b.winter,
Unfortunately, we have a very large environment because it is a hospital organization with very tight change control restrictions. So, changing software versions is not often done and requires confirmation of a fix before approval can be granted. Since the issue does not occur on every call, we were looking for feedback from the community before proceeding with a specific version. Currently we have a test pilot with 2 users on Jabber for Windows 14.1.3 which have had a few issues, but our log captures on the end user workstations have missed the events before being overwritten to confirm it is the same bug. I have also asked Cisco TAC Engineer to confirm with the BU if 14.1.3 includes the fix since the documentation on the BugID does not show software versions know to be fixed. But the BugID Status says it was fixed.

Would appreciate if you could share BU's feedback.
@b.winter When working with large Citrix environments, it's definitely not as easy as just installing latest version and 5 minutes testing
