I have the following router
Cisco CISCO2901
flash0:c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M2.bin
containing the following CUE inbuilt
1 Internal Services Module (ISM) with Services Ready Engine (SRE)
PID: ISM-SRE-300-K9
I want to install the software for this Cue card. 2 quickquestion
which will be the software to be installed on router? I have cue-installer.ise.8.5.1 and cue-installer.sme.8.5.1

Hi,
cue-installer.ise.8.5.1 is for Integrated Service Engine and cue-installer.sme.8.5.1 for Services Ready Engine. As your hardware is SME you should use the cue-installer.sme.8.5.1.

Download software from csico.com, and follow the installation documentation.

Below is the difference
For the ISM-SRE-300-K9, enter:
interface ism slot/unit
For the SM-SRE-700-K9 and SM-SRE-900-K9, enter:
interface sm slot/0
For the NME-CUE, enter:
interface integrated-service-engine slot/unit
For the AIM2-CUE, enter:
interface internal-service-module slot/unit
They are just an Different type of hardware.
