Issues config cisco ata 187 sip

Hi All,

im having iisues config a cisco ata 187 for sip, i can access the web interface via its ip address which displays information about the device but none of it can be modified. I can not access it when i add /dev to the address. I get page can not be displayed.

I have been able to do it for the 186 model.

The ATA-187 shares very little in common with the -186 [thankfully]. The -187 is configured entirely through CUCM. It pulls the configuration file down as other Cisco IP phones do. If you want an independent analog gateway that you can configure you will need to use a VG202 or VG204; they are IOS-based.

Note that the -187 is only supported with UCM 7.1(5) and 8.0(x) per the release notes and requires a feature package installation to see the device type.

how to change tftp server of Cisco ATA 187 as by default its getting a tftp server which is 10.10.X.X but i want to change the tftp server in order to register the Cisco ATA 187 with Cisco CallManager 7.1.

I coudn't configure the network setting from web page. Thanks

Hi,

If you configure properly in CUCM for ATA 187, it must take all necessary settings automatically from the CUCM...
