Line Group to Voicemail

Brett Williston

Hello,

I am newbie with Cisco. I have only been using the system for a little over a month.

Our vendor set up a line group that rings to 2 extensions but unfortunately after about 8 rings it just hangs up.

How do I configure this to go to one of the extensions voicemail?

We are using UCM 9.1 and Unity Connection 9.1

Thank you.

Brett

Set the hunt pilot CFNA to VM in CUCM, then configure the hunt pilot DN as an alternate DN for whoever you want to get the VM in CUC.

Hi Brett,

Lets say the Hunt Pilot that relates to your Line Group is

DN 6000 and the two Line group members are 6223 & 6224.

We want the calls that route via 6000 and are unanswered to go the voicemail

of the user @ 6224.

You set the Call Forward settings @ the Hunt Pilot level "6000" to point to the Unity Connection Pilot

number.

In Unity Connection you will need to find user @ 6224 and the Edit> Alternate Extension

and Add/new Alternate extension of 6000. This way calls the hit Unity Connection via the

Hunt setup @ 6000 will end up @ 6224's mailbox

PS: +5 to my friend Java for beating me to the punch here

Cheers!
