Hey folks
I am running 12.5 UCM, CUC, CUP, CER, UCCX clusters. They are all sitting on two UCSB-B200-M4 blades and I have two UCSB-B200-M5's ready to receive them.
We run vSphere v 7.0.3
All blades are in the same Cluster
All are running on ESXi 6.7.0
One M4/M5 set share a 3PAR datastore
The other is moving off an old 3PAR array and on to a newer Nimble array (but both M4/M5 see the nimble array)
IP addresses, hostnames, etc. will all stay the same.
What is the best way to accomplish this hardware upgrade?

Simply move the VMs with vmotion.

Thank you Roger, that was my thought, but back in 2017 it was frowned upon to do so, I wasn't sure if things had advanced since then. As a test today I powered down a secondary UCCX, removed from M4 inventory, went to the M5 datastore, registered the VM and powered up. All came up just fine.

With all hosts within the same cluster and all other things that you outlined you can actually move the VM while it’s is operational. Recommend you to do so during off peak hours though.
