MCS - 7825 H4 hardware replacement

hi all,

we have situation. 

2 CUCM 7.1.(3a) (Pub+Sub) based on MCS-7825-H4.

we had a failure on the raid. We have replaced the failed part and the subscriber is up and running "standalone" (we see on CLI the hostname and this is correct also we have test ip and web access also ok).

Actually the publisher is working at 90-95% of the CPU.

What can happen when we connect subscriber to master ? Start of a process of "automatic recovery"? The DB  is replicated?

There is a best pratics like "shut pub, start pub, wait 5 minuts, connect sub" ??

Hi RM,

Once you bring the subscriber back in the network the database replication process will kick in. You should check if the phones and other devices meant to be registered with the Subscriber actually do so. Give an hour or so to check if the replication status is 2 on both the servers
