Medianet and per-port/per-vlan QoS policies

On page 2-7 medianet Campus QoS Design 4.0, it describes per-port/per-vlan QoS policies as being for trunk ports only.

If a PC is plugged into an IP phone into a single switch port, and the phone and PC are on different vlans - is that considered a trunk port?

Here is a typical port config we use:

interface GigabitEthernet1/15

switchport

switchport access vlan 6

switchport mode access

switchport voice vlan 910

mls qos trust dscp

spanning-tree portfast

This port is special type of access ports where it accept traffic from two different vlans

But if you use per vlan policing and you apply the Command  mls qos vlan-based then qos policy applied on the relevant vlan interface will take effect

Hope this help
