Hi All,
Need a hand on this.
Problem description :
Single user -- facing an issue -- having no voice-mails in his mail box-- yet the MWI is always lit .
Troubleshooting done : Reset All option on the cisco unity connection page -- for the user # no success.
CUConnection version : 6.1.x

Couple of quick questions that have helped me narrow this down in the past:
Are you sure that the user doesn't have a shared line on their phone?
Can you manually turn off the MWI by using the MWI off DN?

Dialling the MWI-Off # worked for us. The line did not have a Unity account associated to it, but the Voice Message light was on. This was bugging me for days. Thank you.

Hi Abhishek,
Like Gareth nicely noted (+5 )
Go to the phone or have the user dial the MWI-off number
from the proper line button;
To find the MWI-On and MWI-Off numbers from CUCM admin;
Feature> Voicemail> Message Waiting> Find and List

dialling the MWI off number did not help , as well as the user does not have a shared line

eeh..ohhh.. the mwi off number 's css didn't have the partition of the phone line. Resolvedoooo

All the above and also from Unity it is sometimes worth re-synching the MWI status from there.........
