MGCP Support for Analog DID

Hello:

We have a CCM 6.1(2) installation and are going to be adding a remote location using a 2800 ISR. We have a requirement to support four in-bound analog lines (DIDs). We'd like to make this 2800 ISR voice gateway MGCP controlled.

Does the VIC3-4FSX/DID module, configured as DID ports, support MGCP or does the gateway still have to be configured as an H.323 gateway.

Does anyone know when Cisco will be adding analog DID support for MGCP gateways?

MGCP w/FXO will not support caller-id with 6.1.2 This will be a feature in UCM 8 to be released early next year.

Question is about MGCP for analog DID, not FXO/clid.

My personal guess: never.

I would say that the support will never be there 100% Just save yourself the time and effort and configure it as a 323 gateway. Its not that bad!
