Hi,
We are migrating about 10000 SCCP phones to SIP. What is the best way to roll back to SCCP if the result of migration is not satisfactory?
Thanks,
MK

Hi MK,
The best way would be to take the DRS before you make the change, if it does not go well you can restore the DRS, it is production impacting as the full database would be restored. We cannot partially restore database or pick specific components.

Thanks JB,
I don't think the DRS would help as the phones will have SIP images. Those with SIP image need to be deleted before performing a DRS restore. Am I mistaken?

Hi MK,
go to Bulk Administration -> Phones - > Migrate Phones -> SCCP to SIP
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/bat/8_6_1/bat-861-cm/t03phmig.pdf

Thanks JB,
The Migrate Phones -> SCCP to SIP won't work as the description and the Owner User ID fileds are different for each user. I won't be able to create a Template for each user.
Thanks,
MK

Hi MK,
I dont think that is required, but you can double check the same in your LAB.
